While we are enjoying the last breezy and warm days of summer, LB Entertainment is preparing for a busy fall and winter music entertainment season, a season filled with exciting musical performances, upcoming music projects that will expand our music reach, and pursuing exciting new opportunities in special events. Recent Highlights:
Attended Dubspot’s Open House in NYC to meet with their music community of talented music producers and to hear demos from a new generation of DJs showcasing cutting edge techniques and performance styles. www.dubspot.com.
Fresh from receiving his Music Production Certification from Dubspot New York City, LB is creating a new portfolio of original tracks and taking his music to new levels.

The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz & Performing Arts (PCC) – www.clefclubofjazz.org. LB Entertainment also recently joined The Clef Club. The club was founded in 1966 and became a mecca for Jazz in Philadelphia. Its historic past membership included such jazz greats like Dizzy Gillespie, John Coltrane, Shirley Scott, Jimmy Smith. It is the first facility of its kind in the country to be built from the ground up as a Jazz institution. A Jazz institution dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and perpetuation of jazz as an art form . Its present activities include concert presentations, music instruction, and the preservation of the rich jazz history in Philadelphia.

Mélange is defined as « a mixture » and is composed of talented professional musicians/composers from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds who all share a deep passion and love for jazz. Mélange Jazz Collective performs in different configurations and offers an endless resource of musicians: horns, percussion, drums, jazz guitar, and vocalists. In addition to stage performance on the jazz circle, Mélange will provide a jazzy sophisticated musical backdrop for most special events.

LB aka Mïxte BeaTz is a sleek, urban cool solo lounge/party band that features solo artist/composer/producer Laurent LB Bass and cutting edge musical technologies. LB’s creative and eclectic arrangements and compositions incorporate live performance on saxophone and ambient, lounge, electronic dance and other digital elements. Designed to create up-tempo or lay-back feel for lounge, soirées, social and private events.
LB Jazz +One (www.laurentbass.com). Solo band LB Jazz +One’s signature sound infuses elements of American jazz styles, world jazz with rhythms of Africa, Brazil, Cuba and the Caribbean’s and layers of contemporary sound. The band incorporates LB’s live performance on tenor and soprano sax – or clarinet – flute, blues harmonica, percussion with electronic elements. Its minimal set up and rich sound make the band one of the most sought after solo bands in the region for social and private events.
Management & Booking, Danielle Rion-Bass
Danielle brings a diverse educational and rich cultural and experiential background to the field of special events, meetings and music entertainment industry. She joined LB Entertainment in 2006 as Co-Founder and Managing Director, bringing with her more than 20 years of global business expertise in sales, marketing and management that took her to Europe, Mexico, South and Central America, the Caribbean’s and Asia.
Danielle’s commitment to excellence has been part of LB Entertainment’s success in consistently delivering a quality musical experience and flawless execution to many social, private and corporate events which she helped produced. She is passionate about the creative, energizing and innovative aspects of the world of special events and works closely with event professionals, musical artists and clients to bring a unique added value and help create memorable event experiences. In 2010, she was the recipient of the award-winning Executive Event Leadership Certificate Program from Temple School of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Danielle has lived in Europe and in the U.S. and has widely traveled. She has lived in Old City for the last 20 years and loves Philadelphia for its creativity, rich history, vibrant arts and culture community, and friendly business environment.
